My culinary journey began with crafting homemade baby food for my weaning toddlers. This led me to study at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition which, in turn, evolved into my current roles as an author, plant-based cook, and food photographer who highlights the importance of cultural representation and eco-friendly choices in the kitchen. Beyond healthy eating, I recognize the impact of our choices on our personal health and the planet. My newest cookbook, The Vibrant Hong Kong Table (Chronicle Books, available for pre-order) is a love letter to my family heritage, food memories, and reimagining 88 iconic dishes without compromising the flavors and cultural tapestry of Hong Kong.

Previous works include Living Without Plastic (Artisan, 2020), co-authored with Plastic Oceans International, advocating for a plastic-free lifestyle. The Plantiful Plate (Countryman Press, 2019) showcases the delectable possibilities of a versatile, plant-forward diet. Through social media collaborations with brands like American Express, Shutterfly, and Food 52, I've shared plant-forward inspiration, sustainability, and Chinese culture. My food styling and photography have graced the feeds of major platforms, and have been featured in Departures, Cooking Light, and Thrive magazines.

As an active member in NYC's Chinatown, "my home away from Hong Kong", I'm honored to have celebrated Asian American culture and community on New York Live, Vice, and Welcome to Chinatown media platforms. Thank you for joining my journey!
