Seriously smooth and creamy, and guiltfree, I would even eat this for breakfast. Have you had "bressert" before? This would be it! My kids are not big fans of it, even though they love all the ingredients. Yes, if you are expecting the dairy, sugary version, it's not the same. But when you think about all the goodness in this (did you know that dark chocolate is a healthy superfood?!), you can't help but love it.
2 ripe avocados. peeled and pits removed
4 Tbsp of 100% cocoa or cacao powder
4-6 Tbsp maple syrup, to taste
2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp cinnamon
Dark chocolate 85%+ cacao, optional
Blend everything together in a food processor until smooth. Refrigerate for a few hours before serving. If using, use a vegetable peeler to shave some dark chocolate on top.
