spicy hot chocolate

This is a delicious and creamy dairy-free alternative to your morning coffee, or mid-afternoon pick-me-up


1 cups water

1/4 cup raw cashews

2 Tbsp raw cacao powder

2-3 pitted dates

1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

1/8 tsp nutmeg

1/8 tsp cayenne pepper or smoked chipotle powder

pinch of salt


Blend until smooth. Heat gently in a saucepan.
